If you only place your water tank next to your building, water will not flow from your tank into your taps and sinks. That’s where tank stands come in. They make it possible for water to flow from the tank into your taps and sinks using gravity. (The other option you could go for is installing a booster pump)
The standard installation package includes:
- the water tank ( range from 1,000L to 10,000L)
- the tank stand (range from 1 Metre to 9 Metre)
- installation of the stand; mounting the stand in concrete
- plumbing connection from your water source to the tank
- plumbing connection from your water tank to the building
Customisable height options
If you’re not sure what height your tank stand should be our team can help you decide on best option.
- You can read through the guidance we’ve put together in the article: How high should my tank stand be?
- You can also book a free site visit. One of our technical team members assesses your property and advises you on the best set up.
Anti-collapse guarantee
5000L of water weigh around 5000kg + a 5000L tank weighs around 90kg + a standard 4 Metre stand weighs around 215kg = 5300kg
That’s a lot of weight. It can cause damage to property or harm people if the tank or tank stand collapses.
That’s why we’ve invested a lot of time & energy researching the best tank stand designs that will not collapse for the rated water capacity. We still invest time and effort to source the best steel and material needed to achieve that goal.
All tank stands have a flat platform and a security cage to secure the tank. We don’t recommend using ropes to secure water tanks because rope weakens over time.
Also, all installation teams that mount TSG tank stands are trained on the correct procedure for installing a tank stand. That includes details like
- the correct concrete mixture
- the depth to dig underground
- how to align the tank stand – whether its 1 Metre high or 9 Metres high – at a perfect 90 degree angle to the ground
Complete plumbing connections
The full installation package includes plumbing service. So that we minimise the need for you to deal with many service providers to finish that one project. All plumbing material & labor needed for water to flow automatically are included;
- Ball float for the tank. This automatically close the tank’s inlet when the tank is full and open the tank’s inlet when the water level in the tank dips to a specific level
- Piping from your borehole or city council connection or well to the tank
- Piping from the tank to your home or office
Warranty
All the tank stands we install are covered by a 10 year warranty. The warranty cover includes bulging at the bottom of the tank, bending or leaning of the actual tank stand, rusting or collapsing.
