Generator cages
We manufacture & install steel generator cages.
- Security. All the steel bars that we use to fabricate cages can only be cut through with a grinder. If you don’t need a grinder to cut through it, you won’t see us using it to fabricate the cage. Moreover, anti-theft plates cover the locks; this makes it extremely difficult for a thief to use force to break the padlock.
- Durability. We prime all the steel with red oxide before applying the the final coats of paint. This prevents rust and corrosion.
- Flexible locking system. Where appropriate, the cages come with 2 lockable doors, on the top and on the side.
- Made to measure. Where necessary we can do a site visit – which is free within Harare – to take the exact measurements of your generator
Prices for generator cages
- Small generator cage – Maximum generator size 1035mm x 570mm x 800mm – Price $210
- Medium generator cage – Maximum generator size 1380mm x 800mm x 900mm – Price $255
- Installation is included. This is bolting into an existing slab or hard surface.Or mounting the 4 legs into holes with concrete.
- Delivery fee is calculated separately depending on the town or city where the cage is installed.
Generator sheds
We fabricate & install customised generator sheds. We design & price each project according to the client’s specifications.
You can send detailed specifcations for the shed required. You can also simply state the generator make and size so we propose appropriate design and measurents. The design takes into account factors such as the need for security (closed sides or lockable doors) or if the shed is simply for rain & weather cover.
The most significant design consideration tends to be whether a lockable shelter is being fabricated for the generator or if the shed will have open sides. Other specifications such as final paint color are as per client preferences.
